Materials have been produced by the National Diabetes Education Program, a program of the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and staff from this program will be our guest speakers. Go4Life is an exercise and physical activity campaign from the National Institute on Aging at NIH. September is Go4Life month! Go4Life is a research-based campaign designed to encourage older people to adopt exercise and physical activity into their daily lives. The campaign provides booklets, tip sheets, and an exercise DVD to help you motivate older adults in your community to be active. Go4Life partners around the country work together to help older adults get and stay active. Learn more about this program, resources that may be helpful in your congregation and community, and how to partner with Go4Life. Questions will be taken at the end of the webinar.
